Fellowship has been playing a key role in the state to combat trafficking since 1999. The secretary of Fellowship, Mr. S.M. Farooque is the State Convener of ATSEC, a regional level network headquartered in Kolkata, India. Centre for World Solidarity (CWS), Hyderabed sanctioned a grant-in-aid to work in five Districts Anugul, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapada and Puri to address the issue of trafficking in persons especially women and girl. As part of intervention strategies Marriage Registrations, Public awareness, Economic rehabilitation of the returnees, ensuring anti-trafficking call functional and Training of the law enforcement are some major focus areas.

For the financial year 2020-21, ATSEC is working in 100 villages of the above mentioned districts including Bhadrak. A series of activities have been undertaken to ensure the project objectives. A brief report of the activities undertaken is mentioned here.

In Bhadrak we are closely working with the families in 3 Gram Panchayats i.e. Chandigan, Kodabaruan and Rahanja. Regular follow-up actions are being taken to avail different schemes to the families who are eligible to get those.
